1-2PM Speaker: Annette Romero, Mary Sutula & Alexis Geddes from BFG Kuwait

As greyhounds get harder to find and adopt, have you ever considered adopting their smaller first cousins, SALUKIS? BFG (Become a Foster Guardian) Kuwait is a non-profit, volunteer-led group that has been saving dogs and cats in Kuwait for over a decade including the beautiful salukis, whose personality and traits are so greyhound-like. The group's work begins in Kuwait, where the on-the-ground team rescues animals from unsafe conditions. After providing medical and compassionate care, the volunteer network expands to Maryland, where the dogs are placed in foster homes.

The group will bring some beautiful salukis to the presentation and discuss their work as well as the similarities and differences between greyhounds and salukis. If you’ve ever considered a smaller version of a greyhound with all the familiar lovable qualities (roaching, snuggling, quiet, clean, silly), you’ll love this presentation.
